Programme Value: Up to £1bnAre you an experienced infrastructure leader looking to shape the future of vital utilities in the South of England?We’re looking for a dynamic Project Director to join the senior leadership team delivering a major capital works programme in the regulated water sector. With a framework value of up to £1bn, this is a high-profile opportunity to lead the delivery of complex projects across a 5-year period, from design through to commissioning and handover.You’ll lead a large delivery team and act as the primary point of contact for a key client. This role demands strong stakeholder engagement, strategic oversight, and a relentless commitment to safety, performance, and collaboration.What you’ll be doing:Leading the end-to-end delivery of major civil, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure projectsChampioning a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibilityDriving programme-wide performance, innovation, and continuous improvementBuilding trusted relationships with client teams and internal stakeholdersEnsuring commercial outcomes are delivered on time and on budgetWhat we’re looking for:Proven experience leading complex infrastructure projects or programmesStrong leadership in collaborative environments (preferably in the water/utilities sector)Deep understanding of CDM, engineering management, and collaborative contracts (e.g. NEC)Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a solutions-focused mindsetHNC/HND or Degree in construction/engineeringNEC PM accreditation and APMP (preferred)This is a chance to take on a pivotal leadership role in a high-impact programme that delivers real, long-term value for communities.
