- Work with Senior HR Advisors to support the development of line management capacity in order to assist them to achieve their business objectives
- Support and enable managers to achieve solutions to management issues within the organization’s cultural context
- Provide advice and coaching on specific day to day People related issues
- To advise managers and staff on matters across the whole spectrum of human resources, to ensure a consistent approach towards correctly implementing the People policies
- To assist and advise in the investigation of disciplinary and grievance cases, maintaining an awareness of current legislation and its application ensuring that policies and procedures are amended accordingly
- To assist and advise in the implementation of organisation and service reviews to ensure that strategic objectives are fulfilled and that the change programmes are embedded within the business
- To monitor specific data i.e. sickness absence, competencies, equalities, conducts and liaises with and advises managers on issues arising
- You must have demonstrable experience managing end to end complex employee relations cases, including sickness and absence, and disciplinaries and grievances
- It is essential that you have experience providing HR advice and guidance within a Unionized environment
- Public sector experience would be beneficial
- You will have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and professional HR issues
