We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated professional to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. If you are passionate about supporting learners with SEND and making a positive impact, we want to hear from you! SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor, support, and inspire learners by assisting with curriculum-based activities both in the classroom, during home tuition, outreach programmes, and outdoor activities
  • Help prepare learning materials and contribute to achieving learning objectives, with a strong emphasis on behaviour management
  • Provide daily reports on learners' progress and identify barriers to learning
  • Engage regularly with parents and carers to support learner development
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
  • Possesses a passionate and committed approach to working with students with SEND
  • Has at least two years' experience working in a SEND environment or similar setting
  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (highly advantageous)

About our SEN School:Our school is located in a rural setting on the outskirts of Worksop, providing a safe, stimulating learning environment with specialist facilities and access to local resources. We maintain a high staff-to-pupil ratio, with many pupils receiving 1:1 support or learning in small groups to build social skills and independence.Important information:
