- Contribute to and support the planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Track social media trends and provide insights to optimise content and engagement strategies.
- Assist in growing social media followers and enhancing online community engagement.
- Interpret social media and marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Check content and report any inappropriate activity and/or posts.
- Contribute to and support the maintenance and update of the company website content using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress)
- Write and upload blog posts, case studies, news articles, and project features
- Ensure website content is accurate, current, and aligned with branding
- Ensure content is appropriate and fit for purpose
- Contribute to and support email marketing campaigns (e.g., drafting newsletters, updating mailing lists)
- Contribute to and support coordination of marketing assets including photos, videos, and project documentation
- Contribute to and support the content creation and editing for brochures, proposals, and presentations
- Assist in the creation of visual content using graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).
- Contribute to and support the preparation of internal comms and team updates
- Contribute to and support PR and outreach activities, including compiling press releases and media kits
- Contribute to and support colleagues with tools and materials to enable them to carry out their respective duties as required.
- Gather content directly in the field with staff on projects. This may involve travelling to / attending Systems Integrations, projects and going to site outside of working hours.
- Ensure that all tasks are within budget.
- Support the UK Business with Tradeshow exhibitions
- Be a Solotech ambassador at all times.
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.
- Educated to A-level or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- Educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience is desirable.
- A minimum of 1 experience in a relevant role.
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Sprout, Monday.com).
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc).
- Creative mindset, strategic thinker
- Basic understanding of content management systems (WordPress or similar)
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A natural customer service/supportive, helpful demeanor.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Video editing skills.
- Interest in AV technology, media production, or related industries is desirable
- Right to work and remain in the UK.
- Full Clean UK Driving License
- Ability to travel throughout the UK including overnight stays from time to time
- Ability to travel outside of the UK, rarely, but possible.
