
Economics and Casemaking Senior Consultant

- An undergraduate (achieved/predicted minimum of 2:1, or equivalent) or master's degree in economics, geography, real estate, public policy, business, or another built environment discipline such as town planning.
- Storytelling and written communication: You are able to: write clear and concise reports; prepare high-quality visual and written documents, presentations, and outputs that tell a compelling story; engage and influence audiences; and relay information in a concise and logically structured manner.
- Verbal communication: You are able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and feel confident in delivering presentations, leading meetings and workshops.
- Numerical proficiency, research and analytical skills: You can analyse data, undertake qualitative research and synthesise information.
- Team working: you are an enthusiastic person, passionate about collaboration and bringing people together around a shared idea.
- Strategic and integrated thinking: You are able to interpret the needs of a wide range of stakeholders, take a strategic view on complex issues and deliver integrated solutions (i.e. recognising when to bring various types of technical expertise to the table).
- IT proficiency: You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and Powerpoint.
- You are a self-starter with good organisational and time-management skills.
- You have a clear interest in working on projects related to the built environment, specifically but not limited to urban regeneration, housing, transport and net zero. You also have an interest in current affairs relating to the sector.
- Statistical analysis and data visualisation, and using software such as GIS and PowerBI software
- Economic modelling experience e.g. Cost Benefit Analysis
- Better Business Case Training.
