This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment supporting pupils with diverse needs.Key Responsibilities:Classroom Cover (2/3 of role):
  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and inclusive learning environments.
  • Collaborate with assistants, therapists, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to resource development and school-wide initiatives.
Cover Coordination (1/3 of role):
  • Organise and manage daily cover for teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Communicate timetables and changes effectively.
  • Mentor and support supply staff.
  • Liaise with HR to ensure safeguarding compliance.
  • Use Microsoft Teams and email systems to manage cover instructions.
Person Specification:Essential:
  • Experience working with children.
  • Timetable coordination experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confident in Microsoft Teams and web-based applications.
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management.
  • Driving licence
Desirable:
  • Ability to inspire and mentor colleagues.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach.
  • Self-motivated and a motivator for others.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
