- Previous experience of working in a hygiene supervisory/management role in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Level 2 Food Safety.
- IOSH supervising safely.
- Experience having led/contributed to continuous improvement activities – training and support can be given to achieve yellow belt status.
- Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving skills using suitable root cause analysis methodology – training and support will be given.
- Ability to supervise a team and motivate them to deliver/exceed business/personal set Key
- Performance Indicators.
- Ability to complete standard work and support improvement projects within a team-based, fast-paced environment.
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements.
- Ability to interact with IT systems for measuring/managing people, process and plant – training and support will be given.
- Competent in MS office suite.
- Experience of working to set targets and deadlines.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, being able to follow instructions at all times.
- Experience of working on your own, using your own initiative, and to be able to work and contribute as part of a team is essential.
- Positive approach to learning in role and identifying own needs as appropriate.
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Able to manage priorities and workflow.
