
Maintenance Engineer Electrical Technician

- Full U.K driving licence.
- CITB/EITB Apprenticeship or other approved training.
- Relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience
- Authorised/Responsible Person in one or more of the following specialism's:- o LV Electrical Systems o HV Electrical Systems o Heating and Ventilation Systems o Steam Systems o Decontamination o Safe Water Systems o Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) o Natural Gas Supplies o Confined Spaces
- Extensive practical knowledge of the electrical and/or mechanical in a complex building environment
- Knowledge of all relevant legislation and technical guidance
- Significant experience working in a complex engineering/ building environment
- Ability to manage and deliver to deadlines and within resources
- Knowledge of all relevant Health Technical Memorandum's (HTM's)
- Ability to be intellectually flexible with keen attention to detail.
- A commitment to improving patient services through an ability to sustain a clear performance focus on achieving demanding goals
- Good organisational skills
- To be flexible and multi skilled to ensure the priorities of the service can be met.
- Able to work using own initiative and as part of a team
- Knowledge of fault-finding on relevant plant and equipment.
