The Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.You must have served a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.You must hold a current UK driving licence and reside within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties.The role is Monday - Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working.Salary - Band 5 plus local RRP (£3,277 pa), with an approximate £1,000 pa on-call retainer, overtime, 27 days holiday & voluntary pension scheme.Base Location: Poole HospitalInterview Date: TBCMain duties of the jobTo understand the role in more detail please read the full job description and person specification documents which are attached to this advert.About usOur values define who we are as #TeamUHD.   • Extensive practical knowledge of the electrical and/or mechanical in a complex building environment
  • Knowledge of all relevant legislation and technical guidance
  • Significant experience working in a complex engineering/ building environment

  • Knowledge of all relevant Health Technical Memorandum's (HTM's)
