Are you happy to travel to sites across the South East?This nationwide contractor are an industry leading specialist in sports pitch construction, primarily focussing on the installation of all types of sports and athletic facilities throughout the UK. The business in process of diversifying their portfolio of offered services into the Commercial Landscape and Business Park sectors, working on some high-end with some prestigious clients such as BMW, Red Bull, and Eaton College. As a result of this growth, an opportunity has been created for an Estimator from a transferrable background to join the team to assist in this next phase of growth for the new division.Within this role, you will be reporting to the Estimating Director and assisting the estimating team with all aspects of tendering including interpreting drawings, complete accurate take offs, and support the sales team with client relationships.The ideal candidate will have some estimating experience from a landscaping or groundworks background and be looking for a varied role with progression. Ideal candidate will also be comfortable working a hybrid role split between home and office working, and site visits across the South East.The Role:
Reporting to the Estimating Director.
Compiling scopes of work from client briefs.
Assist with tendering
Compile estimates of true costs and present them to estimating and sales team.
Site visits circa once per week either in South or Central England.
Excellent progression and training opportunities.
The Person:
Some estimator experience from a transferrable industry, i.e., commercial/hard/soft landscaping or groundworks.
Experience working to scale drawings.
Relevant industry accreditations desirable but not essential.
Experience with estimating software desirable.
Looking to work for an exciting company with lots of room to progress.
Full UK driving licence.
