Doodlebugs Day Nursery is a well-established nursery with a great reputation for delivery high quality care, situated in the village of Aberuthven, near Auchterarder. It is on a bus route and conveniently located near the M90 for easy access from Perth, Crieff, Stirling and surrounding areas.Our purpose-built nursery is homely, well equipped with resources and has great outdoor spaces that our children love to explore. We have a team of 25 wonderful staff members, which include experienced and trainee Early Year Practitioners, an inhouse Chef, supportive Managers, as well as Support Workers and Relief staff who have been with us for many years. The team pride themselves in knowing the care they deliver at Doodlebugs feels that little bit extra special, going above and beyond to ensure the children in our care are at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to ensure the memories children have of their early years are filled with joy, kindness, and endless exploration.We are looking for Qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our wonderful team. Due to a combination of growth and staff changes, we have Senior/Room leader positions available for the correct candidates to either step straight into or develop into.We welcome applications from full time and part time candidates. The hourly rate available is up to £12.50 depending on skills and experience. Benefits include 5.6 weeks holiday per year, 4 day working week option available to full time staff, staff childcare discount, ongoing training opportunities, regular staff meetings and team events.Applicants must have an SQV or HNC level 3 qualification (or relevant education qualification recognised by the SSSC). Successful candidates will ideally have good understanding and knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence, GIRFEC, Realising the Ambition and Setting the Table.
