Harper May is working with a well-established and expanding property management group that is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to support decision-making across its operations and development portfolio. With a strong track record in asset management and residential services, the business is entering a new phase of growth and requires a commercially astute finance professional to deliver insight and strategic support to senior leadership.Role Overview:
This is a key role responsible for driving financial performance through data-led analysis, robust forecasting, and commercial business partnering. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, providing financial clarity and helping shape strategic plans across the group.Key Responsibilities:Business partner with operations and property teams to support performance tracking and investment decisionsLead budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio and central functionsProvide commercial analysis on property performance, service costs, and margin optimisationDevelop financial models for new projects, tenders, and strategic initiativesSupport pricing strategies and financial review of contracts and service offeringsPrepare monthly management information and variance analysis for senior stakeholdersDrive improvements in reporting tools, processes, and financial systemsAssist in presenting commercial insights to the Board and leadership teamCandidate Profile:ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experienceBackground in commercial finance within property, real estate, or service-led businessesStrong analytical and financial modelling skillsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environmentAdvanced Excel and experience with reporting/BI tools (e.g. Power BI, TM1)
