Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon applicationWe are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), and CAMHS settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for children and adolescents
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
- Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
- Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval
- Extensive experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient and community settings
- Proven experience in a Consultant-level role
