If you’re a part-qualified accountant with a knack for numbers and a passion for making data meaningful, this could be your next big move.You’ll be part of a team that’s all about delivering top-tier financial reporting and you’ll get brilliant exposure across the finance function and a real chance to understand the heartbeat of our EO divisional numbers.Your new roleYou’ll be diving into corporate reporting, helping us keep our financial data sharp and consistent, and working with a mix of internal and external stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. Expect to get hands-on with a variety of reporting and analytics tools, and contribute to continuous improvement.Main responsibilities:Producing reports and working with data to deliver accurate financial resultsSpotting ways to improve how we work via automation, smarter processes, better controlsSupporting and mentoring junior colleagues in our offshore shared services centreBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders to keep service levels highRunning checks to make sure our data is solid and reliableMaking adjustments and entries in our systems to support group reportingJumping in on ad-hoc analysis and reporting requestsAbout YouYou’re part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) or have solid experience in a finance roleYou’ve worked in financial services, but we’re open to other industries too, because soft skills matter just as much!You’re all about continuous improvement and love finding better ways to do thingsYou’ve got a sharp eye for detail and care about quality and controlYou’re digitally curious and excited by data analytics and reportingYou’ve used tools like Oracle, HFM, Hyperion, Wdesk or Alteryx or you’re keen to learn!Why QBE?
