- To deliver service specific training courses, according to business requirements, which satisfy the requirements of competence based learning including underpinning knowledge and understanding.
- To work alone and with colleagues to write and deliver training packages
- To support and contribute to training initiatives, including the drive to improve quality and compliance standards
- To act as a key member of the Training Team in order to hear and respond appropriately to the needs of the business, ensuring that issues raised in relation to Safeguarding and other areas of concern are communicated appropriately to Managers
- To support the L&D Manager in the promotion of training within the organisation including participation in the continuous improvement activities of the department
- Undertake training relevant to the needs of the post and according to relevant legislation.
- Carry out duties in compliance with all company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and Diversity at Work procedures.
- A certified training qualification (and/or willingness to complete one within the first 6 months of employment)
- A qualification in H&SC at a minimum of Level 3
- Nursing Qualification (active PIN)
- Other relevant train the trainer qualifications e.g.
- Moving & Assisting, First Aid, MAPA, Makaton, Safeguarding, MCA, DoLS etc…
- Other Certified Qualifications in Health and Social Care
- Relevant management/professional qualification
