- Diploma of College of Radiographers or B.Sc.Hons in Diagnostic Radiography.

- Evidence of CPD
- Evidence of ability to support less experienced staff
- Post graduate qualification
- Experience in MRI imaging
- Experience within the NHS/associated support MRI providers
- Evidence of management of workload and patient pathway
- Basic line management experience
- Good communication skills
- Evidence of ability to build and maintain effective relationships with the multidisciplinary team, patients and carers.
- IT computer skills
- Evidence of being a professional, team member
- Evidence of ability to recognise own limitations.
- Compliance with departmental protocols and procedures.
- Evidence of problem solving within the MRI team
- Evidence of ability to work independently or in a team
- Evidence of liaison with departments outside of MRI
- Manual handling skills.
- To be able to manoeuvre patients and the appropriate MR coils.
- To work varying shifts from 7.5-12.5 hours to cover an extended day within a7 day service
- To be able to participate in an on-call system for an out of hours service
- Evidence of flexible approach of working
