Job Title Supplier EngineerJob DescriptionSupplier EngineerIn this role youWill Act as Manufacturing Engineer and/product quality at Suppliers (source) to drive problem solving, first time right, DFMAT and process enhancementYour role:
  • Proactively monitoring and measuring product/process quality and performance trends and troubleshooting of production/release issues.
  • Act as supplier engineering Singe Point of Contact to develop, support, and drive equipment qualification and process validation and verification plans and lead continuous improvement projects based on process/product trends, customer complaints, industry standards and government regulations.
  • Assuring quality systems of OEMs, manufacturers and suppliers are maintained and acceptance criteria are in alignment with component/product use and customer expectations.
  • Providing Quality oversight of product/process change requests from suppliers, ensuring appropriate regulatory review and adequate validation to support requested changes.
  • Serving as internal and supplier quality auditor, managing planning, execution, reporting and closure of audits and audit findings.
You're the right fit if:
  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality with a manufacturing or product quality focus.
  • Your skills include the ability to demonstrate technical innovation, technical leadership, mechanical and or electrical engineering, understanding of and adherence to GMP practices and FDA regulations and the knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience to successfully perform the essential function of the job
  • Experienced in DFMAT (Design for manufacturability and testability) and process enhancement at suppliers. Understand and able to apply DFMEA to review CTS/CTQ (Critical to Safey and Quality) for Process Validation and Validation plan at suppliers.

Philips Transparency DetailsThe pay range for this position in Plymouth MN is $87,000 to $100,000, Annually.The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
