We are seeking an experienced MEICA Sub Agent to lead the delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) elements on civil engineering projects in the water sector. This role involves managing site works, technical documentation, and supporting safe, high-quality project execution in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the MEICA aspects of civil and water infrastructure projectsSupervise and coordinate MEICA site installation teamsPrepare and manage RAMS, ITPs, project plans and QA recordsAssist with MEICA design reviews, P&ID assessments and commissioning strategiesSupport the development of installation plans and O&M documentationCoordinate and witness site acceptance testing and telemetry commissioningEnsure compliance with technical standards and manufacturer guidelinesManage project programmes, 2-week lookaheads, and procurement schedulesLiaise with clients and stakeholders during installation and commissioningIdentify commercial opportunities and value engineering optionsProduce accurate reporting for both internal and client useMaintain detailed site records and cost dataRequirementsStrong background in MEICA and civil engineering site deliveryHNC/Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalentFormal Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (C&G/NVQ or equivalent)C&G 2382-18 (18th Edition), 2365, AM2 or equivalentKnowledge of CDM, risk management, and quality systemsExperience with NEC or JCT contracts and project planningStrong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skillsFull CSCS card, SMSTS or IOSH, and Temporary Works Coordinator certificationDesirableChartered or Incorporated Engineer status (CEng MICE or equivalent)Knowledge of WIMES standards and Primavera P62391-52 or equivalent inspection and testing qualificationsExperience with HV/LV systems and confined space (CP1/2)EUSR Water Hygiene and Thames Water Safety PassportBenefitsLife assuranceCompany car or car allowanceMatched pension scheme25 days holiday plus bank holidays (option to buy more)Extensive training and development opportunitiesCycle-to-work scheme and employee benefits platformEmployee Assistance ProgrammeRegular social events and charity activitiesSupportive team and clear career progression pathways
