- Planning and delivering lessons: Designing and teaching lessons that explore religious traditions, moral values, and philosophical ideas
- Assessing student progress: Mark assignments, provide feedback, and track student performance to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Classroom management: Maintaining discipline and creating a safe, respectful learning environment
- Supporting student development: Mentor students, helping them develop both academic and life skills.
- Collaborating with parents and colleagues: Communicate with parents about student progress and work with fellow educators to improve teaching strategies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
