About this jobExcellent opportunity for a skilled engineer/fitter to join a highly successful Scientific Instrument Manufacturer in their fast-paced manufacturing team.You will be responsible for the assembly of scientific instrumentation, combining components to construct complex sub-assemblies. The ability to assemble intricate parts to fine tolerances is a key attribute to this role - during the course of your work you will also be encouraged to identify potential engineering improvements.Candidates should have:
  • An engineering background e.g. an apprenticeship, ONC or equivalent in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Excellent team and communication skills are a must.
  • A background in precision engineering from the automotive, aerospace or medical device industry would be beneficial; as would cleanroom experience.
