Job Description:Overview ...Are you ready to put your production expertise to work in a global leader of food processing solutions?As our Production Manager, you will play a key role in leading and developing Proseal’s manufacturing operations, ensuring products are assembled, tested, and delivered on time, in full, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead a multi-skilled team of technicians, driving performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across multiple value streams.What you’ll be doing
  • Take ownership of the On Time, In Full (OTIF) production schedule and all related KPIs
  • Ensure all assembly and test operations are completed safely, effectively, and to the highest standards
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical and electrical technicians, driving performance and development
  • Support customer care and product transfer activities, ensuring product quality and service excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and accuracy in production processes
  • Embed a strong safety culture, ensuring audits are completed and corrective actions are delivered
  • Manage resources effectively, including labour planning, budgets, training, recruitment, and performance reviews
About YouYou are a strong and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You bring proven experience in leading production teams, a continuous improvement mindset, and a passion for delivering quality products on time.You’ll bring:
  • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing/assembly environment
  • A Level 5 technical qualification (or equivalent) in a technical or projects field
  • Proven success in managing operational processes to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and their practical application in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with data analysis and KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Computer literacy, with experience in business management software (e.g. SAP, ERP, CRM)
