- Provide care and supervision, attending to personal, social, and health needs.
- Support pupils with special educational needs, developing knowledge of individual strategies and targets.
- Encourage participation, interaction, independence, and self-esteem.
- Offer constructive feedback and contribute to student progress monitoring.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions as needed.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a purposeful learning environment.
- Help plan activities, manage resources, and record pupil achievements.
- Promote positive behaviour and deal with incidents in line with school policy.
- Offer administrative support including photocopying, filing, and data input.
- Assist with pastoral duties and tutor support.
- Deliver and adapt planned learning activities to suit pupil needs.
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
- Use a variety of tools and approaches to enhance learning and independence.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for helping young people.
- Experience working with children or young people in a school or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to professional growth.
