You'll play a key role in helping customers who have fallen behind on payments, guiding them towards fair and sustainable solutions.Location: Glasgow – Hybrid (after training & probation)Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 DOEWhat you'll be doing:
Managing customer accounts in arrears with empathy, professionalism, and in line with company and regulatory standards.
Handling inbound and outbound calls, maintaining accurate records and delivering a positive customer experience.
Conducting income and expenditure assessments to agree suitable repayment plans.
Negotiating effectively while always focusing on fair and positive customer outcomes.
Meeting performance targets and addressing challenges proactively.
What we're looking for:
Previous collections or similar experience is desirable, but not essential.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations.
A clear understanding of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
A positive, open, and solutions-focused attitude.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday (rotational shifts):
o 8am-4pm for 3 weekso 12pm-8pm for 1 week
Weekend cover: 1 in every 4 weekends (Saturday or Sunday, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm) - with a day off in lieu.
Hybrid working: Following training and successful probation, typically 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
