
Technician - Electro/Mechanical

- Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components and systems.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system design and setup requirements.
- Calibrate sensors and test them to ensure systems are functioning as intended.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to avoid downtime.
- Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems (e.g., motors, pumps, PCB's) and electrical systems (e.g., wiring, sensors, circuits).
- Replace defective parts using tools and test equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g., mustimeter's, oscilloscopes) to test system performance.
- Identify issues, Document and report problems and repairs.
- Work with engineers to suggest improvements.
- Build and assemble mechanical systems, components, and equipment according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Fabricate custom mechanical lines using hand tools.
- Perform pressure testing on complete systems, vessels, and mechanical sub-assemblies using air, water, oil or inert gases.
- Inspect and test for leaks, deformation, and system integrity in accordance with safety standards and build/test procedures.
- Document all pressure test and build results and ensure systems pass inspection criteria.
