A Peterborough-based contractor is seeking a motivated Trainee QS to join their supportive commercial team. This role is open to those who are degree-qualified, as well as trainees currently in education looking to complete their studies alongside gaining practical experience. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with around one year’s experience with a developer or main contractor who is eager to progress their career quickly.Role Responsibilities
As a Trainee QS, the successful candidate will:Assist with cost planning, measurement, valuations, and procurementSupport commercial management across residential projectsGain visibility and experience across all project stages—from estimation through to final account handoverLearn directly from experienced surveyors while taking on real responsibilityProjects
The Trainee QS will gain exposure to a range of residential developments, including affordable housing and larger new-build schemes.
