·Collaborative, low-ego culture where engineers are empowered to take ownership of their designsKey Responsibilities:·Take ownership of mechanical designs from RIBA Stage 1 through to Stage 4 and beyond
·Translate briefs into high-quality design solutions with minimal supervision
·Collaborate with other M&E engineers, CAD technicians, and external stakeholders as needed
·Support junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of internal standards
·Get involved in sustainability-led schemes including low-carbon solutions and retrofit projectsWhat They're Looking For:·Around 2-4 years' experience in mechanical design within a building services consultancy
·Solid understanding of RIBA design stages, particularly stages 1-4
·Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your workload
·Ambition to develop technically and professionally, including client-facing skills over time
·IES experience is a plus, but not essential
