Job Category: Repairs and MaintenanceJob Description:About the roleWe have a new opportunity for a Groundworker to join our Guinness Property team covering Brighton and Crawley, you'll deliver high standards of flagging, fencing, drainage and general grounds maintenance, ensuring that a customer focused service is delivered.This is a full time, permanent role, covering mainly Brighton and Crawley working 39 hours per week Monday - Friday.Please note: This is a mobile role which is key to supporting the wider team therefore a full, driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is required.We are looking for a motivated individual who:
  • Has the skills and experience to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first time fix).
  • Can deal with the removal of debris and carry out minor brickwork.
  • Provide accurate working information on operational activities, electronically or otherwise, in accordance with legislative and company requirements and procedures.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is fully functional, appropriately maintained and certificated with defects reported and waste materials disposed of correctly.
  • Support the protection and safety of our customers by ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and safeguarding concerns are appropriately identified, monitored, and reported.
  • Work in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.
  • Work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
  • Ability to carry out physical tasks in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
Essential qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Groundwork and General Construction Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.
