We are circa 40 professionals, currently with offices in the UK, Italy, Spain and Poland, but actively delivering mandates across other EMEA markets including Germany, France, Benelux, the Nordics and wider CEE region from our existing bases. We are now part of a Global Energy & Infrastructure Capital Markets platform with bases in the US and Asia. We are pursuing an ambitious growth strategy in EMEA and globally – this position will play a critical and exciting part in that journey for EMEA as a core part of our global E&I business.Job OverviewThis role will be responsible for growing the E&IA practice in EMEA through direct business origination and working on the improvement and successful delivery of our growth strategy. Reporting into the Head of Energy & Infrastructure Advisory EMEA, they will collaborate closely with colleagues across the EMEA and Global E&IA and wider Capital Markets teams, leveraging their own network and the strength of the JLL brand to build and nurture client relationships and generate revenue.This is a vital Director-level role building and running a collegiate, networked and productive Corporate Finance practice. The role focuses on business generation (major sales, pitches, acquisitions, capital raising, development funding, JVs and recapitalisations); and on idea generation, team and network building. The role will be central to the development and delivery of the E&IA EMEA and Global strategy and must work closely with wider Pan-EMEA Capital Markets teams including Debt & Structured Finance, Data Centres and Investment Banking to provide seamless client advice.The successful candidate will use their strong client network to build a profitable business, leading a team of specialists in providing expert financial advisory services across various renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. As part of our ambitious global growth strategy, the role offers significant development and personal reward growth opportunities.What does the role entail?Business Generation & Execution, ClientsWin and execute E&IA mandates, driving new business generation with colleagues in E&IA, Pan-EMEA and Global Capital Markets teamsProvide expert financial advisory services across various technologies, including Solar PV, BESS, Wind and wider energy transition technologies and related infrastructureLead and execute E&IA Capital Markets deals, focused on M&A transactions, equity and debt capital raising to generate a multi-million pipelineBroaden JLL EMEA Capital Markets offering through leveraging debt and M&A to embed in our sector offerings wherever relevant for our clientsUse relationships and sector insights to generate opportunities through cross sellingGrow and maintain a network of clients, contacts, and relationships with investors, intermediaries and market players in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectorsBusiness leadershipAs a senior member of the E&IA EMEA and Global management team, work closely with the Head of E&IA EMEA on the EMEA E&IA strategy to optimise it and devise methods to ensure its successful implementationCollaborate with the EMEA E&IA team on cross-border mandates and contribute to our strategy through driving initiatives to improve our brand positioning, ways of working and information sharing – this is vital to our success and a core part of our team identityWork closely with Global E&IA colleagues to create and embed an effective global E&IA network, integrated to the Global Capital Markets and wider OneJLL platform.
