Day Rate: £100 – £115 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)Are you a confident, experienced HLTA ready to step into an exciting new role this September?A forward-thinking and welcoming primary school in Bedford is on the lookout for a High Level Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025, for the Autumn term. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity with the potential to extend based on school needs and performance.You’ll be a key part of the classroom, leading sessions, delivering interventions, and stepping in for teacher cover where needed. The school is seeking someone who brings energy, initiative, and a passion for helping pupils thrive.Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support pupils with their learning through targeted interventions and small group work
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and adapt resources
- Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Confident leading a class and delivering pre-planned lessons
- Strong communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills
- Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
