Job Views 28DescriptionOur returning VVIP client is seeking a highly experienced full-time Housekeeper for their fully staffed residence based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. With immediate start!This is a large formal fully staffed household, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working as a professional housekeeper in private households, or in luxury hotels andhave previous experience working with high-profile/VIP clients. Possess attention to detail, energetic, organized, reporting to the head housekeeper and be highly flexible around the principals' requirements,Forming part of the housekeeping team you will be a team spirited individual as this is paramount to the success of the role.The area of Abingdon is fairly rural so a driver with their own car would be required in order to get to and from the area of residence daily.Working days & hours: 40-50 hours per week on a rotational basisHousekeeping duties include (but are not limited to):
- All daily required housekeeping duties
- Dusting
- Polishing
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Changing of towels
- Restocking personal items
- Changing bed linen
- Vacuuming the carpets daily if required
- Cleaning of the inside of the interior windows throughout, including their thresholds.
- Cleaning of all furniture, including but not limited to soft furnishings, antiques and other furniture, rugs and carpets
- Cleaning of all living spaces and rooms
- Emptying bins
- All family laundry when in residence i.e., washing, drying folding, wardrobe management, seasonal changes as well as ironing and stain removal, fine care bed and table linen
- To take clothes/linen to the dry cleaners when required
- Overall high-end housekeeping to impeccable standards to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness possible
