Joining Norse Catering will provide you with a fulfilling role, becoming part of a team that supplies nutritious, balanced, and healthy meals to residents within Care Homes.We have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Rebecca Court working on a permanent, part-time basis working 19.5 hours per week across a two-week rota:
  • Week 1: Mon 08:00-14:00, Sat & Sun 08:00-18:00
  • Week 2: Tues 08:00-14:00 & Fri 08:00-18:00
Main Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing fruit, vegetables and salads for meal services, as well as any other cooking responsibilities directed by the Cook Manager.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness across the kitchen and service areas.
  • Setting up of services areas and tidying away when service is complete.
  • Providing a helpful and enjoyable mealtime service for all residents delivery an excellent customer service experience.
What we are looking for from you:Although previous catering experience would be an advantage, our extensive induction and excellent training programmes means that if you enjoy cooking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment!Our Offer:
