- Provide individual / small group support to pupils with a range of ALN's.
- Assist pupils in overcoming barriers to learning, helping them achieve their academic and personal development goals.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt lesson plans and activities to suit individual needs, ensuring pupils can fully engage in the curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports pupils needs.
- Use a variety of strategies and resources to support pupils with emotional, behavioural, physical, cognitive, and developmental needs.
- Monitor and report on student progress, working closely with teachers, parents, and other outside organisations.
- Experience working with children or young people with ALN.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills, with the ability to maintain calm and support in challenging situations.
- A passion for making a difference and a proactive, patient approach to helping pupils succeed.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff to meet pupil needs.
