The role of Senior IT Support Engineer requires someone who is excited about leveraging technology and design to deliver meaningful business outcomes for our internal customers. You will be providing 2nd and 3rd line support across the business. You will act as the Senior IT Engineer in the team.   • You will play a key role in all the office IT hardware and end user application support, networking, office infrastructure resilience, offboarding and onboarding of all new employees from an IT perspective.
  • Furthermore, you will also work closely with the IT Manager and Head of Security to make sure the cyber and physical security is kept up to date.
  • Communication is vital in this role, as you will be liaising with stakeholders across the business, including overseas.
  • Support for both internal and external audits are also within scope.

  • At least 3 years of previous experience in a senior IT support role within a time-critical environment, including mentoring and/or coaching junior IT Support colleagues
  • Professional knowledge of using Microsoft Entra, including managing users and Identity and Access Management
  • Hands on experience of Windows laptop configuration, management and troubleshooting within a corporate environment, preferably including Intune
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Defender) administration
  • Experience managing VoIP phone systems
  • Demonstrable knowledge of MacOS and iOS management and troubleshooting
  • Proven track record of working to SLA's to deliver an excellent end-user experience
  • Impeccable organisation and time management
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to adjust to a diverse range of users and teams
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Experience delivering training to users on IT competencies, including M365 applications
  • Demonstrable knowledge of corporate wifi set up and security best practice
  • Professional knowledge of firewall and switch configuration and management
  • Experience of setting up a network in a large office, including ethernet cabling
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cyber security best practice
  • Experience with cyber security platforms
  • Experience in working with an MSP
Desirable Skills
  • Experience of working alongside a managed SOC
  • Experience of maintaining an ISO27001 environment
