As part of a not-for-profit organisation, we aim to achieve outstanding results for our customers based on our values - working in an open and transparent way, creating strong partnerships with our customers and providing a first-class customer service.Estate Technician - Voids Clearance and CleaningEly – Covering Cambridgeshire£25,459 - £26,799 per year40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pmWe are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team, based in Ely and covering various sites in Cambridgeshire. This role will involve cleaning and clearing our void properties to enable us to Let them in a presentable manner to new residents. You will be cleaning inside the property and on occasions removing bulk from properties or flats. You will also be required to tidy the gardens of these properties to a manageable standard.The role also requires you to be able to use grounds tools and travel from site to site. The role is covering East Cambs predominantly, but other areas may be required. A company van and tools will be provided.The role of Estate Technician will include:
  • Clearing and cleaning properties to a standard ready to let
  • Clearing gardens to a manageable standard
  • Ad hoc works orders such as bulk removal
  • Completing grounds maintenance such as grass and hedge cutting
  • Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
  • Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work
Skills and experiences:
  • Some practical experience in compliance testing
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Previous experience in a domestic / cleaning environment
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
