
Deputy Construction Manager

- Provides preliminary input to the project time schedule and contributes continuously with input from relevant stakeholders such as Supervisor(s), sub-suppliers etc.
- Manage resource availability at the site.
- Inputs to delivery of materials
- Responsible for the receipt goods on site and storage
- Ensures that RAMS are implemented by the installation teams.
- Ensures an appropriate working environment in terms of safety, and quality assurance.
- Participates in meetings with the customer, architect, consultant, building contractor, local sub-suppliers etc.
- Facilitates site meetings with BEUMER Group employees and suppliers.
- Assists in preparation of work permits.
- Plans and coordinates all site activities and sequence of work, including third party suppliers and other trades working in the area to ensure seamless workflow.
- Provides input to internal and external progress reports.
- Reviews installation progress reports from the relevant sub-contractors, ex. steelwork sub-contractor
- Updates and tracks site related issues
- Ensures that all Level 6 checklists are filled out and signed without defects.
- Facilitates structured handover to Commissioning
- Experience of working on construction projects from start to end (Small to large scale)
- Knowledge of construction methods i.e. understanding technical drawing to scheduling methods
- Risk assessment/management
- Degree of NVQ in engineering or related field is preferred
