Imaging Assistants are an integral part of the Radiology Team providing a high standard of patient centered care to deliver and maintain a good patient experience.We are looking for individuals with:
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, including English Language and Mathematics
  • Previous experience in a caring role/profession
  • Committed to providing quality care
  • Highly motivated and want to be a part of a dedicated team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus
You will become part of a professional and caring workforce delivering high standards of care to our patients, which is both challenging and rewarding.The post will be a support role to patients undergoing tests and procedures, assisting consultants and radiographers performing radiology examinations.The Radiology facility at New Cross Hospital is a purpose-built unit completed in 2003, with excellent facilities for patients and staff.There is a brand new community diagnostic centre (CDC) with Radiology facilities at Cannock Chase Hospital . This post will require rotation across both sites as required by service needs.Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly to include early morning, evening and weekend shifts.
