About the roleOur Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator for our Highways DBFO project, based in Derby.Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live work and play.As a Project Co-ordinator, you will be required to develop, update and review scheme information for three Highways maintenance projects, covering 40 schemes per year, which need to be administered, documents controlled, information managed, and processes checked.What you'll be doing
  • Information management:
  • Helping to setup and co-ordinate all the project information into standardised system
  • Sorting archives and moving information to new system
  • Quality Control of documents and information:
  • Ensuring the information we hold is correct
  • Ensuring that the information we hold is stored where we need it
  • Chasing those who need to provide it
  • Co-ordination support for work priorities:
  • Working with project team members on 3 contracts
  • Support them with setting up information folders for their schemes
  • Identify what's missing
  • Support project reporting with information
Who we're looking for
  • Confident communicator who thrives in solo and collaborative working environments.
  • Self-starter who is driven to develop themselves.
  • Problem solver with an ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and with a high attention to detail.
  • IT literate with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Office tools.
