We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative BIM Coordinator with a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in a similar role with a Higher Diploma or Degree in an Architectural technology or design discipline, who has a strong desire to develop their careers within our friendly and dynamic team in our, Sheffield Studio.You will have good technical skills and expert knowledge of Revit within a fully collaborative BIM environment. Experience of using Navisworks, Solibri, Autodesk Construction Cloud or other design coordination and data validation platforms would be an advantage. You should be able to work as part of a team efficiently, clearly communicate technological challenges and design solutions to the internal and wider design team.Working as a BIM Coordinator on UK and international projects you will be required to carry out work on all stages of the architectural process from small scale to large scale international architectural projects. You will assist in the development of detailed works packages as part of a larger team as required. A sound working knowledge of UK Planning, Building Regulations & CDM regulations would be advantageous. We are also looking for a candidate familiar with NBS Chorus and incorporating specifications into BIM workflows. You should be comfortable with liaising with other members of the design team and clients and must be capable of producing high quality material.Role summary
  • Autodesk Revit expert with confidence and ability to conduct workflow seminars to the project team
  • Assist the HLM BIM and IT teams to resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Understanding Information Requirements, BIM Execution Plans, and their implementation
  • Attend and contribute to Internal and external BIM coordination workshops
  • Manage quality control processes for information exchange
  • Coordination and validation of internal and external models as required
  • Good working knowledge of associated BIM platforms, including Solibri, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, NBS Chorus, etc
  • Good working knowledge of COBie and Uniclass 2015
  • Good working knowledge of relevant British Standards and ISO 19650 suite of BIM documents
  • Any nationally recognised BIM qualifications desirable but not essential. E.g. BRE/BSI
