Salary: £28,000 per annum (£13.46 per hour)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pmRole Overview We are seeking an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in managing daily transport operations, supporting both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the highest level of service is delivered to our clients.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the collection and delivery functions for approximately 27 trucks.
- Respond promptly to incoming client and partner queries via telephone, email, and Nexus messaging to prevent escalation.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, including warehouse, customer service, and drivers.
- Monitor driver performance and ensure systems are updated with accurate, timely information.
- Complete daily reports and general administrative tasks to support the wider transport team.
- Resolve issues quickly and efficiently, maintaining client satisfaction.
- Carry out any other transport-related duties as required.
- Previous experience in a transport coordination role.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see processes through to completion.
