- To manage, assess and implement independently a comprehensive and complex caseload of patients.
- To have a highly developed level of clinical expertise and specialist knowledge including individual communication needs.
- To manage and be responsible for the day-to-day management and organisation of the service being provided in consultation with the Chief Audiologist and Head of Audiology.
- To work autonomously and as part of a team by undertaking all aspects of the service using a high level of clinical skill in all areas of assessment and rehabilitation for adults, including those with special/complex needs.

- MSC or BSc Audiology or MTO: BAAT I & II, BTEC MPPM or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years post qualification NHS Clinical experience
- HPC or RCCP Registered
- Assessment, fitting & verification of hearing aids in adults
- Assessment, fitting & verification of digital hearing aids
- Experience of diagnosis and paediatric fitting and verification
- Experience of MHAS and MCHAS implementation
- Undertakes vestibular & electrophysiological assessment and act appropriately on findings
- Teaching junior and trainee staff
- Excellent communication
- Excellent organisation skills
- Able to work as a member of a team and autonomously
- Motivated and committed
- Proficient with sign language
- Keyboard skills
- Teaching skills
- Car driver with full license
- Second language
- Counselling skills
- Able to travel to other sites and off site as necessary
