
Homeless Assistant Administrator

- To provide administrative and secretarial support
- Take minutes at meetings and process through to distribution.
- Photocopy documents, taking into account all aspects of confidentiality.
- Maintain filing systems
- Liaise with staff in other Phoenix Futures services and with outside agencies, as necessary
- Maintain record keeping and data collection analysis
- Logging incoming referrals and allocating to correct locality team
- Maintain and use databases
- Log, distribute and dispatch post and maintain appropriate records.
- Carry out telephone reception duties, along side other main reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients entering the building.
- Attend and participate in training sessions as required, in particular developing skills in the use of Information Systems and Information Technology.
- Work to Phoenix Futures’ policy and values in equality and diversity.
- Undertake any other tasks in line with this post.
- To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with database management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understand complex issues presented by people in the community.
- Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support.
- Starting salary of £24,637 per annum, with opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal.
