We are hiring skilled Class 1 Welders for a client in Northern Ireland, specialising in the fabrication of trailers, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicle bodies. This is a workshop-based role with consistent, steady work on standardised products, using jig-facilitated MIG welding processes.Key Responsibilities:Carry out MIG welding and fabrication of light-gauge components (no heavy lifting; lifting aids provided)Follow technical engineering drawings to produce high-quality finished productsWork with jigs to ensure consistency and efficiencyMaintain high-quality standards across all workSupport production schedules and meet daily targetsContribute to a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop environmentRequirements:Proven welding/fabrication experience, ideally in manufacturing or vehicle body assemblyAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and reliabilityGood communication and organisational skillsWillingness to learn and work efficiently under pressureMust have or be willing to take the UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 4.0 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)Desirable:Valid or recent welding certifications (Coded/BS EN/ASME/ISO)Experience with jig work and workshop-based fabricationFamiliarity with production-focused environments
