You will report directly to the Regional Distribution Manager for South, as well as alignment to Southampton branch leadership team to deliver in partnership the distribution and wider regional strategyThis is a hybrid role combining working from home with time in our Southampton office (3 days per week in the office or out in the market)The role will:
  • Lead effective distribution of Allianz Commercial business within the South distribution team based out of Southampton branch, developing and embedding the distribution strategy and execution of the Allianz Commercial plan.
  • Create, agree and deliver the distribution disciplines, i.e. pipeline management, structured engagement, cross sell strategy, etc. to enable an effective and compliant service-led business model.
  • Proactively build long-term, sustainable business relationships externally with brokers in order to engender customer loyalty and achieve profitable growth in line with our Commercial ambition.
  • Promote the Allianz proposition to identify and create opportunities across our organisation.
  • Utilising your negotiation skills you will work with brokers to achieve profitable growth and retention of existing business, as well as monitor broker performance and where necessary undertake consequence management
  • Embrace leadership values and, demonstrate consistently high standards of behaviour across all elements of the role
  • Build authentic internal relationships and promote knowledge sharing across Allianz Commercial within the UK and across the Allianz group.

  • A good awareness of the UK General Insurance market
  • A good appreciation of commercial lines products is preferable.
  • Previous experience of dealing in an intermediated environment is preferable
  • ACII qualified or making progress towards
  • A Full clean UK driving licence is essential
  • The successful candidate will be a good communicator.
  • Ensure effective management of all teams so that they work proactively and efficiently
  • Demonstrates assertiveness and resilience.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation/persuasion skills and time management.
  • Ability to motivate others to win for you.
