You'll also be part of the on-air team, which could include participating in chats or delivering breaking news and 2-ways. You may also be required to report on stories and be comfortable creating content for our website, audio and television services. - Produce and present BBC Radio Lancashire's weekday morning bulletins and BBC Sounds bulletins.
- Exercise editorial judgment in developing story ideas and producing accurate and impartial journalism.
- Keep colleagues across the BBC - including online, social media, TV and national radio - in the loop about any breaking stories.
- Delivering to tight deadlines while maintaining the highest editorial standards.
- Significant recent experience of reading live radio bulletins.
- Sound editorial and policy decisions based upon a clear understanding of the BBC's news agenda, the requirements of news and current affairs coverage and the audience.
- Strong writing skills to tell and sell our stories in the best way possible.
- Strong Broadcast voice.
