Legal Secretary

- Prepare and draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility
- Manage schedules and calendars, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist attorneys
- Support attorneys during court proceedings, including taking notes and filing documents
- Communicate and correspond effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties
- Assist with billing and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions
- Provide administrative assistance, including answering phone calls, sorting mail, and managing office supplies
- Proven experience working as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Degree in Legal Studies or a related field is preferred, but not required
