Litace Recruitment Limited is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Secretary. As a Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth operation of our firm.In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various legal tasks, managing documents, and maintaining accurate records.   • Prepare and draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and correspondence
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility
  • Manage schedules and calendars, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist attorneys
  • Support attorneys during court proceedings, including taking notes and filing documents
  • Communicate and correspond effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties
  • Assist with billing and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions
  • Provide administrative assistance, including answering phone calls, sorting mail, and managing office supplies
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Degree in Legal Studies or a related field is preferred, but not required
