- Advising members on land ownership, planning, rural business, and infrastructure issues.
- Leading on compulsory purchase and infrastructure projects.
- Attending agricultural shows and rural events to represent the CLA and engage with members.
- Promoting the CLA's work and building strong relationships across the rural community.
- Collaborating with national teams on property, legal, tax, and land use matters.
- Contributing to policy development and representing members at stakeholder meetings.
- Have experience in rural land management, including tenancies, planning, diversification, and renewables.
- Understand infrastructure projects and compulsory purchase (training available).
- Hold RICS and/or CAAV qualifications (preferred).
- Are confident communicators with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Are enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about rural affairs.
- Enjoy working with people and building professional relationships.
- Are comfortable attending public events and promoting organisational values.
- Based on the scenic Stetchworth Estate near Newmarket.
- Flexible working available (up to 2 days/week), with core office days on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Travel across the East region required - pool car provided.
