CLASS 2 HIAB DRIVER - BRICK GRAB ATTACHMENTMONDAY - FRIDAY: 6:30AM – 4PM£15.00 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our well-established client based in Bolton/Farnworth.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.To be considered for this role you MUST have a valid Grab HIAB Licence.BenefitsAs a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Day to Day Duties:Your duties as a Class 2 Hiab Driver will involve but not be limited to:
  • Delivering most building materials to construction sites
  • Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  • Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted brick grabber safely
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential SkillsAs a Class 2 Hiab Driver you must:
  • Be able to work as a team
  • Have a valid Grab HIAB Licence
  • Have no more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)
  • Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
  • Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
  • Be able to speak and read a good level of English
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles
  • Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training
  • Training will be provided on first day and ongoing support throughout
