Extensive facilities and a focus on holistic development enable every child to grow in confidence, character, and capability, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to society.About the Role:As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with a pupil to support their learning, social development, and well-being. You will collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the pupil receives personalised assistance tailored to their needs.Your responsibilities will be:
- Provide one-to-one support to the assigned pupil throughout the school day.
- Assist in implementing individual learning plans and interventions.
- Support the pupil’s social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
- Prepare and organise classroom resources as required.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to teaching staff.
- Encourage independence and confidence in learning.
- Assist with personal care or mobility support if needed.
- Supervise the pupil during breaks or lunchtime where necessary.
- Participate in school trips and extracurricular activities with the pupil.
- Experience working with children in a UK school or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children.
- Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (desirable but not mandatory).
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
