AR762 – LOLER EngineerLocation: GloucesterSalary: £36,000 + VehicleOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently searching for a LOLER Engineer on behalf of one of our clientsThe LOLER Engineer will be required to carry out inspections across a portfolio of low-rise lifts. This is a field-based positions and applicants should be experienced and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.Our client strongly encourages application from ex-military personnel but all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform LOLER inspections across customer sites, primarily in the care and sheltered housing sector.
Accurately assess lift condition and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Use both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to deliver high standards of safety and reliability.
Work independently while staying connected with the head office.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, many of whom operate in sensitive environments.
Skills and Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
Previous experience in lift servicing or LOLER inspection.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working alone or as part of a wider team.
Respectful and empathetic approach, particularly in care and supported living environments.
