Do you have the patience, empathy, and dedication to support a child on a 1:1 basis?Academics is currently recruiting for a caring and committed 1-1 LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to work 1:1 with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school located in the Camberley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a child's development and education in a nurturing school environment.About the Role:*Providing consistent 1:1 support for a child with ASD
*Supporting learning both in and out of the classroom
*Assisting with social communication, sensory regulation, and emotional needs
*Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
*Creating a safe, structured, and positive environment to help the child thriveThe Ideal Candidate:*Experience working with children with ASD or additional needs (school-based or other settings)
*Calm, patient, and adaptable with a nurturing approach
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Able to follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Ability to commute to Camberley
*Guidance and training from experienced SEN professionals
