Direct Payment Worker Job descriptionDirect Payments Advert Text TemplateAbout the recipientHello! I'm 14 years old and live in Bridlington with my family. I have Autism and learning disabilities. I don't talk much and am predominantly non-verbal, but I can say a few words and signs to help people understand me and would like support to continue to develop these skills. I show how I'm feeling with my hands and sounds. I sometimes flap when I'm happy and make noises when I'm not. I love cuddles and I'll let you know when I want one.I am generally a very happy young man. I enjoy swimming and music, and I have keyboard lessons at school. I like being active and having fun and love getting out and about for walks. I enjoy watching my Ipad and really like a trip to the amusement arcades. I like spending time with people who understand me and require someone who is patient, kind, and understands how I communicate.I need someone to help me get out and about safely. I might pick at threads or clothes, and I don't like it when things are messy. I like things to be the way I would like them and sometimes you will need to be patient with me.
